Award for Environmental Good Governance
On 12 September 2012, The TenCate Union Protective Fabrics facility in Bangkok (Thailand) was presented with the Award for Environmental Good Governance.
TenCate environmental policy is aimed at reducing impact on the environment to a minimum. The market groups devote a great deal of attention to controlling their production processes, rejects and waste streams – some of which are already separated. Wastewater from textile finishing is treated or pre-treated and where possible reused. Worldwide the companies aim for sustainable water management.
