JEC Europe 2015: material innovations
At JEC Europe 2015, which was held from 10 to 12 March 2015 in Paris (France), TenCate Advanced Composites presented its latest material innovations and technologies for application in the aerospace, automotive and industrial markets.
TenCate launched several new products and exhibited a range of customer applications in which advanced composites are processed. Examples include a complete Thales radar dome for satellite communication, a solar panel from Airbus Defense & Space for future ESA missions, and a bearing structure based on TenCate Cetex® thermoplastic composite for the engine mounting of the Airbus A380. Also on display were thermoset and thermoplastic automotive components made from TenCate materials.
In the midst of more than 1,200 international exhibitors spread over three large halls, TenCate attracted interest that was well above average. Every day found the attractively arranged exhibition booth (nearly 90 m²) filled with business relations and interested visitors eager for information on current and new composite materials. Customers of the operating companies of Ten Cate Advanced Composites from the United States of America, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands were ably assisted by colleagues from the fields of management, sales and technology − and all this in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
