TenCate Geosynthetics has supplied TenCate Geotube® containers for a dewatering project in Almeirim (Portugal), which involves the removal and dewatering of organic sludge. 

An enabled material contract has been signed to supply TenCate Cetex® carbon fabric laminates for use in the new Airbus A350 XWB among other EADS applications. Based on this award TenCate Advanced Composites Europe will start the delivery of TenCate Cetex® will start towards several Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners of Airbus that produce fuselage panels and components for the Airbus A350 XWB.

Carbon composites from TenCate Advanced Composites in Nijverdal (NL) are used in the wing ribs of the lightweight Kanja glider.

In January 2012 mountaineer and ‘adventurer’ Wilco van Rooijen and co-pilot Fokke van Velzen are embarking on a trip to the South Pole with a CO2-neutral vehicle running on solar energy. Part of the bodywork consists of TenCate composites.

TenCate Geosynthetics is involved in two large dewatering projects in Rio de Janeiro (Brasil):  the cleaning up of the Canal do Fundão and the removal and dewatering of polluted sedimates at Sepetiba Bay, which is just west of the city.
