TenCate Grass is sponsor of the Turf & Grass Expo 2010, the international convention focusing on artificial turf and natural grass. It provides a forum for stakeholders to share ideas and conduct business. It is of particular interest to sports federations, clubs - professional and amateur, stadia and event professionals, communities, governmental organizations, contractors, designers and consultants.

When a sports club or community wants to switch
to synthetic turf, sporting, business, financial and strategic considerations play a role in the decision-making. During the two-day conference a panel of experts will turn the spotlight on these aspects.
And of course the latest products, trends and technologies in the field of synthetic turf will be presented. 

The Turf & Grass Expo 2010 is taking place in Amsterdam on 8 and 9 December. Over 3,000 visitors are expected, including representatives of sports federations, clubs (professional and amateur), communities, stadium managements, government organisations, architects and manufacturers.

Nigel Fletcher, who used to work for FIFA, is managing director of Sports Development Marketing and organizer of the conference and exhibition. He sees the synthetic turf market still growing, certainly at community level. If well maintained and properly used, a synthetic turf fields is playable all year round. ‘My only concern is that buyers are not always informed of which product, standard they should choose, and what is best value', he recently told the magazine PanStadia.
