    TenCate subsidiary Xennia Technology receives Queen’s Award 2010

    Xennia Technology – the British inkjet technology subsidiary of Royal Ten Cate (TenCate) – has won a Queen’s Award 2010, named after the British Queen Elizabeth II, whose birthday is celebrated today. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the United Kingdom’s most prestigious awards for business performance. Xennia Technology has received this award for its outstanding achievement in international business, substantial growth and commercial success. This Queen’s Award underscores the international sales success of the innovative inkjet solutions that Xennia markets worldwide.

    Innovation award for breakthrough technology of G650 rudder and elevator

    Fokker Aerostructures(NL), Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (USA),  KVE Composites Group (NL), TenCate Aerospace Composites (NL) and Ticona GmbH (GE) have won the prestigious JEC innovation award in the category Aeronautics, for the first welded thermoplastic composite Rudder and Elevator of the all new Gulfstream G650 tail section. The award has been officially presented to Fokker Aerostructures and partners during the opening ceremony of the JEC Composite Show in Paris on Tuesday April 13.

    TenCate secures Norwegian order for TenCate Defender™ M fabric

    TenCate Protective Fabrics has secured an important order from the Swedish manufacturer Gulins Business Design AB for the supply to the Norwegian FLO (Defence Logistic Organisation) on inherently flame-resistant TenCate Defender™ M fabric in the new colour dark blue. This involves fabric for more than 25,000 sets of clothing in two years, to protect the Norwegian marines.

    During the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Royal Ten Cate, which was held on Thursday 8 April 2010, the dividend for the 2009 financial year was declared at € 0.60 (2008: € 0.85) per ordinary share of € 2.50 par value.

    Appointments by General Meeting of Shareholders

    On Thursday 8 April 2010, The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Royal Ten Cate has appointed Mr. J. Lock as a member of the Executive Board in the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In addition, the meeting appointed Mr. R. van Gelder as a member of the Supervisory Board. Mr. P. Deiters was reappointed as a member of the Supervisory Board.
