TenCate Geosynthetics North America is pleased to announce the company has received the 2007 Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) Award of Excellence for safety area improvements made at the Yeager Airport Runway 5 in Charleston, West Virginia.
The International Achievement Awards recognize worldwide excellence in design, technological innovation and excellence within the specialty fabrics industry. This year the 60th annual competition received a record 387 entries for 28 categories from 14 countries.
A distinguished panel of industry experts, editors, architects, educators and design professionals judged the entries. Chosen for their knowledge of the various categories, judges evaluated each entry based on complexity, design, workmanship, uniqueness and function. "We are very privileged to have won the 2007 IFAI Award of Excellence," stated John Henderson, PE - Vice President of Marketing for TenCate Geosynthetics. "This award is a result of our continued commitment to promote and document unique applications which utilize geosynthetics."

The 2007 International Achievement Awards were presented during IFAI Expo 2007, the Americas’ largest annual specialty fabric event, October 3-5 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
