• TenCate Protective Fabrics secures order for Kuwait Fire Services Department

  

  TenCate Protective Fabrics in partnership with Al Sada GT&C of Kuwait has secured a major TenCate Tecasafe® Plus order for the delivery of inherently flame-resistant fabric for use in fire officers uniforms in the Kuwait Fire Services Department. The TenCate material used will be used as station wear and during fire investigation processes.

• TenCate Protective Fabrics wins orders for Dutch IJsselland and North-East Gelderland fire brigades

  

  The IJsselland and North-East Gelderland fire brigades in the Netherlands have opted for the optimal protection of inherently heat- and flame-resistant materials from TenCate Protective Fabrics. The order, which will involve a total of 1,850 uniforms, is the result of two European tenders.

• New lightweight fabric in TenCate Defender™ M collection

  

  TenCate Protective Fabrics has further expanded its product portfolio with a new lightweight fabric – TenCate Defender™ M - DP 9180 (180 g/m2). This inherently heat- and flame-resistant fabric is used in garments for professionals operating in the colours dark blue and black, such as naval personnel and military-police or special-squad officers. TenCate already has a lightweight fabric in its collection for this field – the 210 g/m2 DP 9210. This fabric has been purchased for a number of years by the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (NDLO) for Norwegian Naval protective clothing. But now we have an even lighter version.
