• GreenFields® TX artificial grass system in Dutch National Hockey Stadium

  This summer, GreenFields is delivering a GreenFields® TX artificial grass hockey field, powered by TenCate, to the Dutch National Hockey Stadium in Amsterdam. The same high-quality artificial grass system was chosen for the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014 in The Hague, to be played next year in the Kyocera Stadium and the neighbouring - temporary - GreenFields Stadium. The installation of the GreenFields® TX artificial turf in the national stadium is scheduled to begin in early July.

• FC Oss opts for Edel Grass Green Future football turf pitch

  

  FC Oss will switch over to football turf next season. At the end of May the club signed an agreement for the construction of an Edel Grass Green Future 2.0 football turf system that meets FIFA** quality requirements. This means that as of next season FC Oss will have a sustainable, woven football turf system with TenCate Grass components that guarantee outstanding playing characteristics. Construction work has already begun this week; by mid-July the pitch must be ready for play.

  The certification of all four TenCate market groups in Nijverdal, the Netherlands, on the CSR Performance Ladder in accordance with level 3 represents the next step for the TenCate textile technology company in the implementation of its sustainability policy. On the basis of detailed audits, accredited certification bureaus recently established that the business operation of the Dutch production companies of TenCate demonstrably satisfies this certification standard for corporate social responsibility. This makesTenCate the first company in the Netherlands to have certified four different divisions simultaneously in a short time on the CSR Performance Ladder.

• ‘Let’s celebrate hockey!’

  

  The Royal Dutch Hockey Bond (KNHB) will organize next year the Men & Women Hockey World Cup 2014. TenCate as KNHB partner and its subsidiary GreenFields are the supplier of the synthetic turf pitches for these world championships. On Thursday 24 January the KNHB presented the theme for the World Cup: ‘Let’s celebrate hockey!’.

• Royal Ten Cate official partner of KNHB

  

  Royal Ten Cate has become the official partner of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond (KNHB, Royal Dutch Hockey Federation). Mr Loek de Vries, President and CEO of Royal Ten Cate, and KNHB President  Mr Jan Albers sign today the partnership agreement for a period of four years ending on 31 August 2016. The collaboration between TenCate and the KNHB will focus on among other areas the Men’s and Women’s Hockey World Cup, which will take place in and around The Hague in 2014. TenCate will deploy its state-of-the-art hockey synthetic turf systems for these championships.
