TenCate Advanced Armor designs and manufactures customized lightweight ballistic protection solutions for personnel protection. The personal protection system is a wide range of insert plates designed for protection against both lead core and armor piercing ammunition from rifles and handguns. The inserts are manufactured of either pure fiber materials such as polyethylene or hybrid consisting of polyethylene with a ceramic strike face.
TenCate Advanced Armor ballistic fabrics and prepregs feature a comprehensive range of products that include high-performance ballistic fabrics, coated fabrics, prepregs and semipregs, and unidirectional based fiber materials. The fabrics are used in a wide range of personnel protection equipment. These include body armor, helmets, fragmentation blankets and ballistic shields.

Ballistic shields are designed to provide best possible protection for personnel. They can be equipped with a wide range of optional equipment, including ballistic glass, foldable legs, lights, upgraded protection, transport bag and a carrying system.
