In aerospace applications, TenCate Advanced Composites offers a diverse suite of thermoset prepregs serving the aerostructures, space/satellite, radome, jet engine, interiors and launch vehicle markets. TenCate’s cyanate ester based prepregs are valued in satellite and radome structures because of their low outgassing, moisture resistance, and ideal electrical properties. TenCate is an industry leader in prepregs that are out of autoclave (OOA) / vacuum bag only (VBO) processible.  Processing without an autoclave is often more cost effective and increases the productivity of large part fabrication.  It is also desirable when structures are too large for an autoclave.  TenCate's line of high-temperature prepregs are widely used in heat shields, ablatives, jet engines, and missiles. These materials are based on cyanate ester, BMI, and polyimide ester matrices. TenCate also has the TenCate AmberTool line of low-temperature cure tooling prepregs. These materials are capable of curing at low temperatures but can withstand multiple cycles at high temperatures after a free standing post cure.
