TenCate Protective Fabrics wins order for Shropshire Fire & Rescue in U.K.

TenCate Protective Fabrics has won an important order from the British producer FlamePro (UK) Ltd, for the delivery of inherently heat and flame resistant materials for the structural fire fighter clothing for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service in the U.K. This seven-year contract employs a new lightweight system, the TenCate Tecasystem™ Millenia 450, in the construction for more than 1200 fire service outfits. The first 300 outfits are expected to be handed over in June 2012.

TenCate receives new Australian order for TenCate Defender™ M

TenCate Protective Fabrics has received a new order for TenCate Defender™ M protective fabric for 10,000 additional uniforms for use in a continued user trial for Combat Uniforms of the Australian Defence Forces.
TenCate already delivered TenCate Defender™ M flame resistant fabric for an extensive user trial in theatre by the Australian Defence Force in May of 2011. This TenCate Defender™ M FR fabric was also recently chosen, out of over fifty submissions, by the US Army as the only material to be used in its Flame Resistant Army Combat Uniform (FR ACU) program.
