Green Team Twente wins Shell Eco-marathon in
Urban Concept class

The Green Team Twente has won the first prize in the Shell Eco-marathon in the Urban Concept category (hydrogen) with 75 km / kWh (727.5 km on 1 liter of petrol). TenCate is a sponsor of the team. The company provided the participants of composite material, pilots overalls and three modern tents made ​​from TenCate materials: two for the team and one for the vehicle.

The sales and profit achieved in the first quarter of 2012 are in line with expectations. The comparison with the first quarter of 2011 is not representative, as an exceptionally high level of sales of TenCate Defender ™M was generated last year.

The expectation for 2012 as a whole announced earlier will be maintained, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Heracles Almelo honorable second in KNVB Cup Final 2012

Heracles Almelo has reached an honorable second place in the KNVB Cup Final 2012. On Easter Sunday in the Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam, Heracles had to bow for PSV. The team from Eindhoven won 3-0. The KNVB Cup may not go to Almelo, Royal Ten Cate compliments Heracles with the team effort.
