TenCate Advanced Composites receives Supplier Excellence Award from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems

TenCate Advanced Composites North America has received a Supplier Excellence Award from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. This award recognizes TenCate for outstanding quality and delivery performance concerning composite prepreg materials.
TenCate Advanced Composites is among 45 suppliers from at total 437 suppliers recognized for this award, having achieved a minimum 95% on-time delivery performance, and a 98% quality performance ranking. TenCate has been a supplier of composite prepregs to Unmanned Aircraft System programs of General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since inception. Scott Unger, North American Group President states: ‘We take great pride in receiving this award, and supporting General Atomics’ mission success on key Unmanned Aircraft System programs.’
TenCate Advanced Composites operates a kanban system – providing production and inventory based on consumption of customers – providing General Atomics Aeronautical Systems with weekly material replenishments. TenCate is a key supplier of “out of autoclave” composite prepregs for several Unmanned Aircraft System programs.
