TenCate Advanced Composites receives quality certification

TenCate Advanced Composites announces that both of its North American prepreg facilities in Morgan Hill and Fairfield are now AS9100:2009 Rev C quality certified. This certification also covers CCS Composites, a wholly owned subsidiary of TenCate focused on providing the aerospace industry with compression molded parts. These North American aerospace prepreg facilities of TenCate were previously certified to AS9100:2009 Rev B. 

Joe Morris, President at TenCate Advanced Composites North America states: “Achieving AS9100:2009 Rev C quality approval at both locations represents a team effort which we believe is an essential part of our participation on the Boeing 787 program, and ongoing growth in other commercial aircraft programs”.

TenCate is the prepreg supplier for the Boeing 787 radome utilizing low dielectric and high performance materials. In addition, TenCate provides compression molded fuel and hydraulic line clamps for each Boeing 787 from its wholly owned CCS Composites subsidiary.
