Radomes

TenCate materials have been used for over twenty years on a variety of military and commercial aircraft radomes as well as in antenna structure. Materials used in radome construction must be free of carbon fiber constructive particles and are made at TenCate in specialized carbon-free areas. Most reinforcements are glass, quartz, polyethylene or aramid-based.

Radomes are designed for transmission efficiency. TenCate materials used in radome construction possess low dielectric constants and low moisture absorption allowing increased efficiency from the antenna and exhibit low loss tangents offering very low resistance to electrical energy.
