TenCate Defender™ M in FR-ACU and FROG

A significant rise in the demand for TenCate Defender™ M is indicated in the fourth quarter of 2010. The increase in demand is expected to continue well into the first quarter of 2011. The success of TenCate Defender™ M fabrics is based on the unique blend and application of the Lenzing FR fibre.

TenCate Defender™ M is durable and has good wear resistance and excellent colourfastness. It offers not only protection against heat and fire, but also antistatic properties and room to move. This is attributable to the self-developed blend of fibres that are used to make TenCate Defender™ M.  The Lenzing FR® fibre is an important ingredient in TenCate Defender™ M fabrics. In contrast to other fire-resistant fibres, the Lenzing FR® offers inherent fire-resistant characteristics, while at the same time the fibre absorbs moisture. This combination allows the fabric to breathe and ensures comfort.
